Job summary

Empire Roofing, Inc. is seeking a Sales Representative for the Houston office to drive the full sales cycle in an assigned territory. You will prospect new clients, set appointments, present solutions, prepare proposals, and coordinate with the project team to close deals.

Ideal candidates have strong MS Office skills, experience in construction or similar, and the ability to work independently, climb heights if needed, and manage customer relationships from first contact to contract signing.

Qualifications

• Completed High School Diploma required with strong preference for construction/engineering background.
• MS Office (Excel, Word) proficiency required; experience with project tools is a plus.
• OSHA 30 training is required or must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Prospect via cold calls, emails, door-to-door calls, networking and referrals.
• Set sales appointments with key decision makers at prospective client companies.
• Establish rapport and develop long-term business relationships with clients.
• Make sales presentations and partner with clients to establish their needs.
• Present clients with the most appropriate solutions.
• Create proposals and reports or generate estimates from drawings and field notes.
• Submit contacts and documentation, maintain sales call logs.
• Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and request referrals.
• Coordinate with service manager and president to develop sales strategies and close deals.
