Job summary

Rapid Response Remediation, a Houston-based restoration company, seeks an experienced Commercial Business Development Manager to grow our commercial presence in Houston. You will build relationships with property owners, managers, and decision-makers, leverage an existing network to create opportunities, and develop long-term accounts and referral partnerships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of business development experience within the restoration industry.
• Proven experience specifically in commercial restoration.
• Existing book of business and relationships within the Houston commercial market.
• Strong relationships with commercial property managers, facility managers, building engineers, asset managers, multifamily operators, commercial real estate professionals, and/or other key decision-makers.
• Experience developing commercial accounts and generating restoration opportunities.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Understanding of water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, emergency response, and reconstruction services.
• Ability to independently prospect, develop, and manage key commercial accounts.
• Strong communication, presentation, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Building relationships with commercial property owners, property management companies, facility managers, and other decision-makers.
• Leveraging your existing network to create new opportunities.
• Developing new commercial accounts and referral partnerships.
• Attending industry events, association meetings, networking events, lunches, and client functions.
• Conducting presentations and introducing clients to our emergency restoration capabilities.
• Developing emergency response and preferred-vendor relationships.
• Maintaining relationships with existing accounts and staying in front of key decision-makers.
• Working closely with our operations and leadership teams to provide an exceptional experience from the initial call through project completion.
