Job summary

J+J Flooring Group based in Houston seeks a driven sales professional to drive commercial flooring product line growth within the territory. You will cultivate relationships with architects, interior designers, flooring contractors, and end users to uncover opportunities and close projects.

The role requires 3–5 years of outside sales experience in commercial flooring, strong relationship skills, and the ability to travel and entertain clients as needed.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in commercial interior or flooring outside sales.
• Experience working with interior and architectural communities within the assigned geography in the last 12 months.
• Willingness to work evenings 3–5 times per month and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities through new construction and refurbishing projects.
• Build relationships with specifiers and strategic accounts to promote growth in the territory.
• Support sales process with client entertainment, presentations, and marketing materials.
• Move projects through bidding and supply cycles and maintain status on bids and specs.
• Maintain up-to-date customer data and project information in Quest-CRM.
