Job summary

Stantec seeks a Business Development Coordinator for the Houston office to lead local BD activities, align with regional strategy, and grow revenue through strategic client engagement and market insights.

Responsibilities include building relationships, guiding pursuit strategies, and coordinating with leadership to meet annual BD goals while leveraging CRM data and market sector knowledge.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary in business, sales and/or marketing or other relevant field.
• Minimum 8 years of BD experience in A/E/C with a measurable track record.
• Proven revenue growth through new market expansion and client relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of Stantec market sectors in Houston preferred.
• CRM experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position Stantec as a thought-leader to clients, institutions and influencers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients for relevant sectors.
• Assist in development of sales goals and pursuit plans to win projects.
• Direct office-wide BD activities and track CRM pipeline and outcomes.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify strategic hires to hit sales targets.
