Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Greater Houston territory. The role focuses on cultivating business with independent repair facilities, fleets, city/government entities, marinas and national accounts.

You will call on diverse customers, develop plans to grow the territory, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver value and service. This position offers a base salary with bonus opportunities and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree or two-plus years of sales experience.
• Hunter mentality and motivation to succeed.
• Automotive background/knowledge preferred.
• Integrity and honesty in all dealings.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a proven selling system with supportive marketing materials.
• Develop plans to maximize sales opportunities for assigned customers.
• Engage with small businesses and regional fleet managers.
• Conduct needs assessments and develop sales proposals/presentations.
• Coordinate with inside sales, customer service, production and distribution.
• Plan and manage accounts and territory coverage.
• Introduce new products and updates to customers.
• Build long-term, value-based customer relationships.
• Focus on prospecting to grow the business.
