Job summary

HOPICS in South Los Angeles is seeking a Housing Stability Specialist to provide housing stability case management for families experiencing homelessness. You will work with CRCD, HOPICS, Shields for Families, Sanctuary of Hope, and WLCAC to coordinate housing and economic stability services.

The role requires intensive engagement with clients (20-45) to develop service plans, access resources, and monitor progress toward stable housing, with some evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree OR High School Diploma with a minimum of two years related homeless services experience.
• Mandatory TB test and annual re-testing.
• CPR and First Aid certifications within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive case management to a caseload of 20-45 clients.
• Develop housing service plans and linkages to services.
• Coordinate housing placement and ancillary services with partners.
• Enter data into tracking systems within 24-48 hours.
• Attend meetings and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation.
