Job summary

Pennrose Management Company is seeking a Housing Stability Coordinator to develop on-site educational and supportive programming for residents across our properties. You will connect residents with community resources, provide case management in homeless or PSH units, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field.
• Requires a valid driver’s license, an insured vehicle, and the ability to travel (between properties, on-call emergencies, trainings, etc.)
• 2–3 years of experience working in the mental health field or in a housing stability role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the implementation of supportive service plans and the delivery of needed and appropriate programming and services at all assigned properties.
• Maintains compliance with supportive service program requirements and reporting.
• Assesses residents’ needs and facilitates access to services and/or provides resources.
• Educates residents on lease obligations to assist them in being more successful tenants.
• Addresses rental delinquency issues, housekeeping issues and resident-related issues that could lead to turnover or damage.
• Identifies, networks and collaborates with community agencies to provide programming and services.
• Works closely with management to assist with resident issues and concerns.
• Assists residents with seeking eligibility programs, resources and required documents.
• Acts as a liaison to the broader community to improve property operations.
• Regular collaboration with local police to enhance safety and security.
• Provides consistent support and case management services to residents in set-aside units.
• Conducts regular check-ins with residents in set-aside units.
• Liaises between external case management providers and property operations.
