Job summary

Children’s Rescue Fund is seeking a Housing Relocation Supervisor to guide housing specialists and coordinate services for homeless families moving into permanent housing in the New York City area.

The role supervises staff, conducts training, maintains CARES data accuracy, tracks applications and placements, and builds partnerships with providers and the VA to secure permanent placements. Some travel and long hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice or Human Services required.
• Minimum of 4 years housing-related experience for homeless or low-income populations, including two years in family services.
• Excellent written and oral communication, supervisory and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housing specialists and support staff.
• Coordinate orientation and training of housing staff.
• Maintain CARES data accuracy and timely updates.
• Track housing applications, placements, and related reports.
• Develop relationships with housing providers and VA to secure placements.
