Job summary

Children’s Rescue Fund is seeking a Housing Relocation Supervisor/Coordinator to guide housing relocation specialists and support homeless families in securing permanent housing in the New York City area.

You will supervise staff, facilitate training, maintain CARES data accuracy, coordinate with housing providers, and work with an interdisciplinary team to remove barriers to housing success.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required or equivalent experience in social services.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating with multiple teams.
• Strong written and oral communication; organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision and training of Housing Specialists.
• Provide guidance to staff and facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Maintain CARES data accuracy and timely updates.
• Coordinate with housing providers and agencies to secure permanent housing.
• Monitor housing applications and track progress toward targets.
• Assist with move-in coordination and lease issues.
• Occasional on-call responsibilities may apply.
