Job summary

Abode Services in the Bay Area seeks a Service Coordinator to provide housing services to individuals experiencing homelessness in Alameda County. You will offer counseling, referrals to financial, legal services, and develop individualized housing plans to move clients toward permanent housing stability.

You will coordinate with landlords and community partners, maintain client files, document services, and attend meetings to ensure high-quality support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Services, Social Work, Sociology, or related field or equivalent field experience.
• 2 years case management experience providing services to homeless or low-income individuals and/or families.
• Valid California Driver's License, current auto insurance, and a clean DMV record.
• Flexible schedule to work evening and weekend hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provision of comprehensive housing services to participants, including working directly with landlords.
• Coordinate services with social service partners to refer and provide support.
• Maintain individual service plans and needs assessments for households.
• Meet with households in person in the community or home as needed.
• Attend program meetings with internal and external partners to coordinate services.
