Job summary

Abode Services is seeking a Resident Services Coordinator for Willow Glen studios in San Jose, CA. The role focuses on housing stabilization, counseling, and referrals to financial, legal, and supportive services to help clients reach permanent stability.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least 1 year of case management for homeless or low-income populations, and a CA driver's license with a clean DMV record. Flexible hours and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience in psychology, human services, or related area.
• 1 year of case management experience serving homeless or low-income individuals or families.
• Must have a valid California Driver's License, auto insurance, and a clean DMV record.
• Ability to drive participants when required and work flexible hours including some weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Develop a community calendar of educational, recreational, and civic engagement activities.
• Build collaborative relationships with local service providers and neighborhood stakeholders.
• Coordinate with property management to foster resident ownership and community.
• Provide housing stabilization referrals to crisis, income support, benefits, and health services.
• Maintain comprehensive case files and submit required program reports.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed and support through referrals.
