Job summary

Abode Services in California seeks a Service Coordinator to provide housing services to individuals experiencing homelessness. You will develop individualized housing plans and connect clients with financial, legal, and supportive services, coordinating with landlords and partners to improve housing stability.

Ideal candidates have experience with homeless populations and 2+ years of case management, plus a related degree.

Qualifications

• Experience working with homeless populations and case management.
• 2 years case management experience with homeless or low-income individuals/families.
• Driver’s license with clean DMV record and transportation of participants when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive housing services to participants, including counseling and referrals.
• Coordinate services with landlords and other social service partners.
• Create and maintain individualized housing plans and needs assessments for households.
• Meet with households in person and attend program meetings to coordinate services.
