The Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida is seeking a Shelter Case Manager to provide housing-focused case management to individuals and families at the Center for Women and Families or the Men's Service Center. You will help guests identify, access, and maintain stable, permanent housing while addressing barriers to stability.

The role requires adherence to evidence-based practices including trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, progressive engagement and person-centered

Formación

• Associate's degree in social services or equivalent; relevant advocacy experience considered.
• Experience serving underserved populations; bilinguals encouraged.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays.

Responsabilidades

• Provide case management to individuals and families experiencing homelessness to achieve housing stability.
• Refer to community resources and follow up to ensure service connection.
• Advocate for guests while collaborating with courts and social services.
• Facilitate connections for housing, benefits, employment, and other supports.
• Record case notes in HMIS and complete required reports.
• Attend trainings and maintain program knowledge.
