Job summary

Telecare Corporation seeks a dedicated housing and support specialist to assist individuals with mental health challenges in achieving independent living within the community. Under supervision, you will provide direct services, coordinate housing resources, and support client wellbeing.

Position requires state-level certifications, vehicle access, and compliance with safety and employment screenings. The role involves driving clients to appointments and community activities in the Orange County

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or higher and 3 years direct mental health/community services; or an Associate’s with 2 years; or Bachelor’s in Social Services.
• At least 1 year direct service experience as Housing Specialist.
• CPR, CPI and First Aid certifications required by start date or within 60 days.
• Must be 18+ years old and able to pass background checks and screenings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary support and case manager for individuals with mental illness and co-occurring disorders.
• Help clients live as independently as possible in their chosen community.
• Coordinate with housing resources and community services to support stability.
• Transport clients as needed and adhere to safety policies.
