The Salvation Army SW 2nd Avenue location in Portland is seeking a Housing Advocate for the Women’s Housing Collaborative. You will establish advocacy relationships, screen for eligibility, and act as primary case manager for up to 30 households, coordinating with landlords and outside agencies to support housing stability.

You will maintain confidential client records, write case plans, and provide information, referrals, and advocacy aligned with trauma-informed care principles.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in Human Services or related field.
• Experience with domestic violence survivors preferred.
• Ability to work with trauma-informed care and assertive engagement.
• Strong written and oral communication; maintain confidentiality.

• Write case management plans and provide advocacy for WHC participants.
• Develop case plans to improve safety, self-sufficiency, and housing stability.
• Coordinate with landlords and manage rental assistance records.
• Maintain client files and update Service Point data regularly.
• Meet participants and participate in meetings and network with partners.
