Job summary

Brightli is seeking a Housing Liaison to assist individuals with disabilities or in recovery in meeting basic needs and securing safe, affordable housing. You will assess crises, connect clients with housing resources, and coordinate with community partners to stabilize housing.

The role requires outreach to landlords, education on programs, referral to services, and applying for benefits using SOAR. You will document data, participate in state training, and serve as a resource to case managers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related case manager experience in housing.
• Mental health professional or human services degree may qualify for community support.
• Any four-year degree with two years of qualifying experience may qualify for the role.
• Four-year degree with qualifying experience or any four-year combination may qualify for the role.
• Four years of qualifying experience also qualifies under CS 101 Qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Engage individuals in housing first, harm reduction, and low-barrier service models.
• Attend and participate in Coordinated Entry/Case Conferencing meetings.
• Outreach households in housing crisis or homelessness.
• Refer and transport clients to services for behavioral health, health, and employment.
• Build and maintain relationships with local landlords.
• Educate landlords about programs and provide referrals.
• Connect referrals from Continuum of Care programs to housing stability services.
• Assist with SOAR applications for benefits.
• Assist with moving on to permanent housing options.
• Participate in state-wide Housing Liaison training and calls.
• Complete timely data collection and entry as required by DMH.
• Know resources available in the community and serve as a resource to others.
