Job summary

St. Vincent de Paul of Baton Rouge seeks a Housing & Social Services Director to lead dignity-centered housing and social services, supervise a team of social workers, and advance trauma-informed care across programs from homelessness to housing stability.

Reporting to the Chief Services Officer, you will coordinate Case Management, Coordinated Entry, PSH, Hospital Liaison, and internships, build partnerships with healthcare and housing providers, ensure program quality, and manage budgets to

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work (MSW) required.
• Minimum five years in social work, housing, or related services.
• At least two years of supervisory or program leadership experience.
• A valid Louisiana driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop case managers and other staff.
• Set performance expectations and lead regular supervision and meetings.
• Oversee programs and coordinate across Case Management, PSH, Hospital Liaison, and internships.
• Develop policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Monitor budgets with Finance and ensure grant compliance.
• Build pathways from shelter to permanent housing via partnerships.
• Represent SVDP in community meetings and coalitions.
• Provide trauma-informed training and maintain confidentiality including PHI.
• Ensure HMIS data accuracy and audits.
