Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in NY upon hire.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in social services with supervisory capacity.
• Knowledge in supervision of social workers, case management, and housing/services.
• Experience in housing, homeless services, or family services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Client Care Coordinators, including recruitment, training, supervision, evaluation, and staffing.
• Guide coordinators in achieving program goals and care standards.
• Handle administrative, operational, and programmatic issues affecting staff.
• Assign cases and ensure timely, comprehensive assessments.
• Ensure completion of bio-psychosocial assessments at intake and during shelter stay.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve client engagement and service delivery.
• Coordinate mental health services and referrals to government/community resources.
• Maintain clear client care coordinator reports with findings and recommendations.
• Liaise with DHS and other agencies to advocate for families.
• Develop group work for families and ensure exit planning and referrals.
• Ensure documentation is completed timely and housing applications are processed when applicable.
