Job summary

Neighborhood Association for Inter-Cultural Affairs seeks a Housing Specialist Supervisor to lead Housing Specialists, oversee daily housing service site operations, and develop service plans that promote permanent housing stability.

You will mentor staff, conduct performance reviews, collaborate with legal services, and maintain case records in LegalServer to ensure high-quality services and compliance.

Qualifications

• MA/MS or equivalent in Administration, Finance, HR, or Management.
• 1+ year of executive-level administrative support.
• Knowledge of homelessness challenges.
• Familiarity with casework and case management.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse groups.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent reading/speaking/writing English.
• Background checks and drug testing may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to Housing Specialists at their office site.
• Assist the Assistant Director in overseeing daily housing service site operations.
• Collaborate with Site Assistant Director on training of new Housing Specialists.
• Mentor Housing Specialists to foster growth and high-quality performance.
• Conduct supervisory coaching and annual performance evaluations.
• Support caseload management during staff coverage, ensuring timely task completion.
• Refer complex matters to the Assistant Director for escalation.
• Manage a limited caseload with complex client cases.
• Develop service plans with participants to address housing stability.
