Job summary

UMOM New Day Centers in Arizona seeks a Housing Coordinator to supervise case management for family-focused housing programs. You will support staff, monitor grant compliance, and coordinate housing interventions with partners while maintaining client confidentiality.

Responsibilities include supervising Housing Case Managers, overseeing eligibility and housing plan development, and ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting for Rapid Rehousing programs. This is an exempt, salaried position.

Qualifications

• High School or GED diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum three years of professional experience in social/homeless services or related fields.
• Experience working with landlords, property managers, and affordable housing developers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; knowledge of community resources.
• Proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Housing case managers and programs according to policy.
• Ensure program goals meet grant requirements.
• Oversee eligibility determination for prospective UMOM RRH clients.
• Oversee development of housing plans for shelter clients.
• Collaborate with housing and shelter programs to determine interventions.
• Review client files for data accuracy and provide guidance to staff.
• Conduct ongoing staff meetings and supervision for Housing Case Managers.
• Provide back-up support for Housing Case Managers as needed.
• Attend weekly client staffing for housing support.
• Oversee housing services for mobile domestic violence housing programs if needed.
• Manage relationships with property management companies.
• Maintain client confidentiality and timely reporting for Rapid Rehousing programs.
