Job summary

Community Teamwork Inc in Lowell, MA is seeking a Housing Representative - Program Representative to support leased housing participants and owners. You will handle eligibility inquiries, maintain caseloads, and ensure compliance with program regulations, while delivering professional and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent Education
• Familiarity with computers and data entry
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage on-going projects concurrently
• Proficiency in math, Microsoft Office or similar technology
• Sensitivity to the needs of diverse, low income populations. Demonstrated ability to handle emotionally stressful situations and manage conflict
• Ability to manage several tasks at once
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and negotiation skills
• Effective customer service, interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written
• Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Desire to work with low income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families and individuals
• Must be willing to travel to and work out of our Salem, MA extension office up to 2 days per month

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients by telephone, email or in person to provide information about services available or to handle any concerns
• Screen client inquiries for eligibility
• Maintain client caseload as well as appropriate documentation ensuring compliance with program regulations
• Explain program requirements, regulations and procedures to applicants, participants and owners
