Job summary

SPECIAL SERVICE FOR GROUPS INC. in Los Angeles seeks a Program Manager for the HOPICS division. The role reports to the Interim Housing Senior Manager and serves as the main contact for Interim Housing Providers and sites, overseeing program operations and compliance.

You will ensure timely assessments and ICPs, maintain housing plans, and ensure HMIS/CHAMPS documentation and reporting to support participant housing stability and program success.

Qualifications

• Requires associate's degree or bachelor’s degree in related field and/or 2–5 years experience in social services.
• Excellent communication and confidentiality.
• Proficiency with HMIS/CHAMP or similar systems.
• Background clearance and employment eligibility verification.
• CPR and First Aid within 30 days of employment; TB test.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate regular communication with assigned Interim Housing Providers.
• Maintain site presence and day-to-day program operations.
• Ensure case managers complete assessments within established timelines (5x5, ECM).
• Review ICPs/Housing Plans within 30 days of enrollment; update every 90 days.
• Ensure documentation (case notes, services, assessments) is entered into HMIS/CHAMPS on time.
• Review program information and provider updates; deliver training and TA as needed.
• Produce data reports and support performance monitoring for provider staff.
