Job summary

Special Service for Groups, Inc. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Program Coordinator to support Housing Stabilization programs under the HOPICS/Pathway Home division. The role reports to the Program Manager and involves training, onboarding, and coordinating activities across multiple sites.

The position is non-exempt and full time with occasional evenings and weekends, travel between program locations, and responsibility for ensuring documentation and compliance per funding requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in social services or related field; 1–2 years in homeless services preferred.
• Two years' experience in social service field; case management and homeless program experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally.
• CPR and First Aid Certification required every two years.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, facilitating, and tracking training, onboarding, and staff support.
• Coordinate and maintain calendar for Case Manager/Program Manager supervision.
• Prepare reports in conjunction with program managers in accordance with funding requirements.
• Travel between HOPICS program locations to support Housing Stabilization programs.
• Enter program services as needed for time limited subsidy/housing navigation/prevention programs.
