Job summary

The Neighborhood Center of West Volusia is seeking a Housing Assistant to support the Housing Director in daily operations, intake processing, property occupancy, and client services. This role collaborates with Prevention Services, Bridge Shelter, and local coalitions to maximize program impact and ensure accurate record keeping.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (associates preferred), one year of social services experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and HMIS.

Qualifications

• Minimum required: High School Diploma.
• Associate's degree in social services is preferred.
• Minimum one-year experience in social services within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Assist Housing Director with housing program management and occupancy.
• Manage rent collection and payments using AppFolio.
• Maintain and update client records in HMIS and enforce intake procedures.
• Coordinate with Housing Director on grant-funded housing programs.
