Job summary

Community Teamwork in Lowell, MA is seeking a Housing Representative - Program Representative to assist leased housing program participants and owners with eligibility, services, and benefit administration. You will maintain a client caseload and ensure documentation complies with regulations while delivering professional, community-minded service.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent education.
• Familiarity with computers and data entry.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage concurrent projects.
• Proficiency in math, Microsoft Office or similar technology.
• Sensitivity to needs of diverse, low-income populations and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Ability to manage several tasks at once.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel to Salem, MA extension office up to 2 days per month.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients by telephone, email or in person to provide information about services available or to handle concerns.
• Screen client inquiries for eligibility.
• Ensure changes are made to resolve client concerns (Re-certifications/Lease-ups, income adjustments, family changes, moves/transfers/inspections).
• Maintain client caseload and documentation in compliance with program regulations.
• Explain program requirements, regulations and procedures to applicants, participants and owners.
