Job summary

Community Teamwork is seeking a Program Representative to support the Leased Housing program in Lowell, MA. You will assist participants and owners with eligibility and program requirements while maintaining a compliant client caseload and related documentation.

The role requires strong customer service, verbal and written communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Travel to Salem MA extension office up to 2 days per month may be required.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent education required.
  • Preference for familiarity with housing regulations and low-income programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide information and assistance to leased housing participants and owners regarding eligibility and program requirements.
  • Maintain client caseload and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Screen inquiries and determine eligibility; process re-certifications, lease-ups, and income adjustments.
  • Explain program requirements and procedures to applicants, participants, and owners.
  • Travel to the Salem MA extension office up to 2 days per month as needed.
  • Support CTI's mission of equity, integrity, and compassion.

Position Summary

As part of the Leased Housing team the Program Representative provides information and assistance to leased housing program participants and owners concerning eligibility and program requirements the provision of services and benefit administration The position maintains a client caseload and the corresponding documentation in compliance with program regulations The position supports the mission and objectives of the Leased Housing program through the delivery of professional and knowledgeable services to the community

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Communicate with clients by telephone email or in person to provide information about services available or to handle any concerns
  • Screen client inquiries for eligibility
  • Check to ensure that appropriate changes are made to resolve client concerns
  • Re certifications
  • Lease ups
  • Annual and interim income adjustments
  • Changes in family composition
  • Change of address
  • Move outs
  • Transfers
  • Inspections
  • Maintain client caseload as well as appropriate documentation ensuring compliance with program regulations
  • Explain program requirements regulations and procedures to applicants participants and owners

Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or Equivalent Education
  • Familiarity with computers and data entry
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage on going projects concurrently
  • Proficiency in math Microsoft Office or similar technology
  • Sensitivity to the needs of diverse low income populations
  • Demonstrated ability to handle emotionally stressful situations and manage conflict
  • Ability to manage several tasks at once
  • Strong interpersonal verbal written and negotiation skills
  • Effective customer service interpersonal and communications skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Desire to work with low income culturally diverse and at risk families and individuals
  • Must be willing to travel to and work out of our Salem MA extension office up to 2 days per month

  • Prior related experience

Pay Range

Pay Range 2575 2655 per hour

The stated pay range represents the Agencys good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting Actual compensation within the range will be based on factors such as experience skills and qualifications
