Job summary

Chief Seattle Club is seeking a Portfolio Manager to oversee housing properties, ensure safety and compliance, and lead the property management team across facilities. The role coordinates with staff, contractors, and partners to sustain housing stability and program success.

You will manage leasing, budgeting, and reporting while aligning operations with regulatory requirements and organizational goals. A strong background in affordable housing and property management is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Real Estate, Business Admin, Public Admin, Property Management, or related field.
• 5–7 years experience in property management, affordable housing, or housing program operations.
• Knowledge of budget preparation, financial monitoring, and capital planning for housing properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of Chief Seattle Club housing properties, ensuring safe, well-maintained, and compliant housing environments.
• Monitor property performance including occupancy, leasing activity, compliance requirements, and property operations.
• Oversee leasing, transfers, and vacancy management to ensure units are filled efficiently and housing stability is maintained.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure properties meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff, contractors, and service providers for repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Review property management reports, financial performance, and operational metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with preparation and monitoring of property budgets and long-term capital planning.
