Job summary

Eden Housing is seeking an entry-level Assistant Manager at Eden Sunset Pines in Concord, CA. This full-time clerical role supports the Community Manager in day-to-day operations of housing projects serving low-income residents, handling rent collection, maintenance scheduling, file management, and move-in procedures.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of clerical or related experience, strong typing (40 wpm), and proficient with Word/Excel/Outlook; knowledge of YARDI is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 months clerical/office experience or related training.
• Type professionally and accurately at a minimum of 40 wpm.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.
• YARDI software experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with diverse groups and equitable housing.

Responsibilities

• Schedules maintenance repairs and files completed work orders.
• Assists in resident move-in/out procedures and unit inspections.
• Collects rent and performs daily bank deposits as needed.
• Maintains resident files and wait lists per EHMI policies.
• Ensures compliance with HUD and EHMI regulations.
