Job summary

National Health Foundation is seeking a Housing Navigator (Part-Time) in Ventura, CA to assist guests facing housing crises. The ideal candidate has an Associate degree in a related field and at least three years in social services, plus CPR/First Aid certification.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification required or maintained.
• Experience delivering field-based social services to unhoused individuals preferred.
• Ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams and with community partners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial meetings and assess housing needs and barriers.
• Coordinate access to housing subsidies and rental assistance programs.
• Develop Individual Action Plans and assist guests in achieving housing goals.
• Provide housing stabilization services and budget planning.
• Establish relationships with landlords and housing providers to expand options.
