Job summary

CareCollab is seeking a Housing Specialist in New York to support members in securing safe, stable, and affordable housing. This role involves assisting individuals facing rental issues, preparing housing applications, and communicating with landlords. Candidates should have at least 1 year of related experience, strong organizational skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with NYC housing systems is preferred. Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in housing placement or eviction prevention.
• Experience with rental assistance and housing stabilization preferred.
• Familiarity with NYC housing systems or subsidies strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support members through all stages of the housing process.
• Assist members with rental arrears and eviction prevention resources.
• Prepare and track housing applications and documentation.
• Coordinate housing interviews and prepare members.
• Communicate with housing providers and partners as needed.

Strong organizational and documentation skills

Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines

Strong communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office
