Job summary

Heart of Texas Region Behavioral Health Network is seeking a Housing Navigator to work with Continuum of Care agencies to locate housing for homeless individuals. The role involves guiding consumers from program approval through lease signing, and acting as liaison with landlords to expand affordable housing options.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree, strong communication, and the ability to transport clients with 60% local travel and 10% regional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Case management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work with landlords and agencies to secure housing.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with area landlords to increase affordable housing.
• Help consumers locate appropriate housing and navigate the process.
• Coordinate services with community partners for housing transitions.
• Address landlord concerns and provide timely resolutions.
• Prepare progress notes and required documentation.
