Job summary

Bader, a long-established Minnesota property management firm, is seeking an Operations Compliance Specialist to support rental communities in the Twin Cities. This full-time, on-site role at our corporate office in St. Louis Park involves ensuring regulatory and program compliance, overseeing tenant accounts in Yardi, and coordinating with site teams and residents.

Work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional travel to sites.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Operations/Compliance experience.
• 1 year of Section 42 experience.
• 1 year of Section 8 experience.
• 1 year of Affordable Housing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional support to site teams, leadership, residents, and stakeholders with clear, timely communication.
• Monitor delinquent balances, review ledgers, and coordinate follow-up to ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare and file pre-filing notices and eviction actions per company procedures and laws.
• Maintain resident accounts in Yardi, including charges, adjustments, and supporting docs.
• Track recertifications, renewals, rent changes, and related notices for accuracy.
• Support affordable housing compliance processes, including audits and reporting.
• Assist with special projects related to compliance and process improvement.
• Ensure adherence to Fair Housing, OSHA, and company policies.
• Report unusual circumstances to supervisor and support growth opportunities.
