Biloxi Housing Authority seeks an Administrative Specialist to support the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) admissions, voucher issuance, and continued eligibility. You will manage a caseload of up to 400 participants and serve as frontline for applicants, residents, landlords, and community partners.

The role requires strong organizational, communication, and data-entry skills in a fast-paced public housing environment with adherence to HUD/BHA guidelines.

Formación

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience administering Housing Choice Voucher programs.
• Ability to work with HUD guidelines and maintain records.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain positive resident communications and respond to inquiries from applicants, residents, landlords, and community partners.
• Process applications and determine eligibility under HUD/BHA guidelines.
• Issue Housing Choice Vouchers to participants and monitor expiration.
• Verify income and family composition for eligibility and document files accordingly.
