Job summary

Bay Area Turning Point, Inc. is seeking a Housing Case Manager, ESG, CoC to provide housing case management for survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault.

You will evaluate needs and connect families to resources, including clothing, furniture, and food, while coordinating with the Housing Manager. The role requires a 2-year degree with experience or equivalent, strong administrative skills, and the ability to work on-site.

Qualifications

  • 2-year degree with 3+ years related experience or 6+ years in a similar role.
  • Strong administrative skills and computer literacy.
  • Clear oral and written communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize changing workloads.
  • Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity to BATP's mission.
  • On-site availability within 45 minutes for on-call areas.
  • Clean driving record with at least 3 years of verifiable driving.
  • Provide proof of automobile insurance.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Ability to lift/move at least 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure survivors are safe, stable, and thriving through collaboration and rapport.
  • Conduct casework: goal setting, education, finances, referrals to advocates.
  • Use positive reinforcement and harm reduction to protect housing.
  • Provide crisis resources map and guidance to use 211.
  • Know housing grant regulations and data standards.
  • Maintain confidential participant records and file management.
  • Document progress; organize files for internal/external monitoring.
  • Attend trainings and meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
