GraceWorks Ministries in Franklin, TN is seeking a Housing Assistant to support Neighbor Services by processing rent assistance requests and helping at the front desk. You will gather documents, communicate with neighbors and landlords, and submit payment requests while maintaining confidentiality.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Housing Assistant will be responsible for supporting the Neighbor Services department in processing new and existing Rent Assistance requests, while also providing support to the Front desk staff and the Graceworkers.

Bachelor's degree in social work, Human Services, or related field preferred.
Proficiency in both English and Spanish is strongly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals; motivated, energetic self-starter with strong problem-solving skills; good judgment; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; computer literate with working knowledge of Word and Excel; ability to learn new database systems; highly developed organizational, planning and oral and written communication skills; excellent time and self-management skills; strong sense of initiative and ability to work under pressure on multiple projects; ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Position involves everyday risks or discomforts that require standard safety precautions. Position requires standing on concrete floors and lifting of up to 20 lbs and moving items on occasion.
