Job summary

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake is seeking a Houseperson to join our Housekeeping Team. You will prepare and maintain common areas to a standard of upscale hospitality, and you will respond to radio calls to deliver amenities to rooms.

Hourly pay ranges from $17 to $19 depending on experience. The Lodge offers full-time year-round employment with a comprehensive benefits package including paid holidays, paid time off, insurance, 401(k) match, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities

• Clean all public and back-of-house areas.
• Maintain inventory and use of houseman carts for restrooms.
• Empty trash and remove dirty linens as requested.
• Respond to radio calls to deliver amenities.
• Report maintenance issues to Front Office for work orders.
• Clean the Spa each evening after closing.
• Assist housekeeping for daily guest service as needed.
• Follow departmental policies and safety procedures.
• Assist other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking a Houseperson to work with our Housekeeping Team for $17 - $19 hourly DOE. You will prepare and keep common areastidy and to a standard of upscale hospitality. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND POSITION PURPOSE:

A Houseperson is responsible for the cleanliness of commonareas in front and back of house, as well as the restocking and cleaning of restrooms both in the front and back of house. They also respond to radiocalls from the front office and housekeeping team to deliver amenities to rooms(In room amenities, fresh linens, extra pillows, blankets, hangers, robes,slippers, etc.).

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performscleaning duties in all public areas and back of house areas
• Use ofhouseman carts when cleaning restrooms as well as maintaining inventory ofnecessary supplies.
• Emptyinggarbage, removing dirty linens and towels upon request.
• Alwayscarries a radio and responds to any amenity delivery requests.
• Reportsnecessary maintenance issues to Front Office so a work order is made.
• Responsiblefor cleaning the Spa every evening after closure.
• Assistswith housekeeping as needed for Daily Housekeeping Service for in-houseguests.
• Followsdepartmental policies and procedures.
• Followsall safety and sanitation policies.
• Assistother departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.

SCHEDULE AND BENEFITS:

Standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to and including 20 lbs. may be required. The hospitality business functionsseven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is ahospitality business, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be alwaysprojected.
