Job summary

Lodgco Hospitality in Traverse City, MI is seeking a capable Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping and laundry teams. You will interview applicants, evaluate staff, coach, and ensure OSHA safety standards while controlling labor costs.

You will assist the General Manager with payroll and scheduling, supervise daily room cleaning, inventories, and supply orders, and drive guest satisfaction through impeccable cleanliness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising hotel housekeeping staff.
• Ability to manage payroll and work schedules.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, interview applicants, evaluate employees, coach and counsel, and promote teamwork.
• Assist General Manager with payroll, overtime monitoring, and weekly schedules.
• Inspect all hotel areas daily to ensure cleanliness and security standards.
• Complete inventories and procurement of supplies and linen.
• Participate in monthly Profit/Loss reviews and cost control.
