Job summary

Holiday Inn across from Universal is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily operations, inspect rooms and public areas, and coach staff to uphold brand standards. You will wire staffing to occupancy, manage safety and quality, and ensure timely room turnover with strong guest service.

You will train new associates, monitor productivity, and coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to keep rooms in service.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years in housekeeping with lead/supervisor experience preferred.
• Strong eye for detail with consistent inspection standards.
• Flexible availability including weekends/holidays; ability to lift 40–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations: open/close department, assign room boards, adjust staffing as needed.
• Inspect rooms and public areas to brand standards; document deficiencies and coach for corrections.
• Onboard and coach new associates; conduct huddles and skill refreshers (safety, time management).
• Track daily productivity and re-clean rates; redeploy staff to meet turn times and reduce OOO/OOI rooms.
• Respond to guest requests and service recovery with urgency; coordinate with Front Office on room status.
• Coordinate maintenance: create/follow up on work orders in CMMS (e.g., HotSOS/Quore); verify repairs.
• Manage inventory: pars of linens, amenities, chemicals; support monthly counts and rag-out procedures.
• Enforce safety/compliance: OSHA, PPE, SDS handling; uphold key control and privacy policies.
• Support public areas/laundry: assist with checks and staging; participate in deep cleans.
• Prepare and submit inspection forms, logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs.
