Job summary

Western Camps, Inc. in Reedley, California is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to guide the team across our resort, outdoor education, and camp programs. You will plan schedules, assign rooms, and oversee cleanliness to ensure readiness for guests and events.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a team, including assigning work, holding people to a standard, and handling issues in the moment.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily and weekly housekeeping schedules across the resort, outdoor education, and camp calendars, and adjust staffing as bookings change.
• Assign rooms and spaces each day and lead pre‑shift meetings.
• Inspect guest rooms, group lodging, meeting and event spaces, and public areas for cleanliness and readiness.
• Train, coach, and mentor the housekeeping team to meet quality and productivity standards.
• Manage laundry operations, including linens for large group turnovers, and maintain laundry equipment.
• Maintain supply inventory and manage restocking ahead of busy weeks.
• Submit and follow through on maintenance requests and work orders.
• Coordinate room and space readiness with the front office and operations team.
• Ensure adherence to safety, sanitation, guest privacy, and key control procedures.
• Step in alongside the team on cleaning and turnover work when the schedule calls for it.
• Partner with the Operations Manager on staffing, performance, and team development.
