Job summary

Great Wolf Lodge in LaGrange, GA, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations, mentor staff, and ensure high cleanliness standards and timely turnover of rooms.

The role requires at least 1 year in a supervisory position in Rooms Division, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; pay is $19.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Rooms Division supervisor or similar supervisor position.
• Prior hospitality or housekeeping experience or equivalent formal education.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and general software systems; proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook; Experience with HotSos or similar system.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or Holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Leads and mentors housekeeping staff daily to ensure cleanliness standards and operational efficiencies are met or exceeded.
• Ensures turnover of vacant and clean rooms in a timely manner; verifies stayovers and communicates issues to front office.
• Provides coaching, encouragement, and recognition to staff.
• Collaborates with Housekeeping leadership in performance management of the department and staff.
• Participates in scheduling of staff, labor management and forecasting.
• Develops and executes training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development.
• Creates daily assignments and projects to optimize lodge cleanliness and performance.
• Conducts daily stand up meetings with Room Attendants and House Attendants to prioritise the day.
• Addresses pack feedback with leadership and escalates as needed.
• Inspects guest rooms for cleanliness, damage, supplies, maintenance, and temperature control; reviews results with staff.
• Ensures storage rooms and carts are clean, organized, and inventoried; promotes safety standards.
• Supervises staff activities to ensure compliance with resort standards and attendance management.
• Assists with recruitment and selection for housekeeping team.
• Supports team engagement activities and communications of updates.
• Ensures proper communication of maintenance work orders and guest feedback to appropriate departments.
• Schedules deep cleans and carpet care based on bi-yearly schedule and guest feedback.
