Residence Inn Birmingham Downtown at UAB, part of HEI Hotels and Resorts, is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team, ensure safe and clean guest rooms, public areas, and back of house, and maintain high guest satisfaction.

You will interview, hire, train, and coach staff; assign duties; monitor inventory; respond to guest requests; and uphold health, sanitation, and safety standards while supporting the overall guest experience.

Formación

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry or move materials weighing up to 100 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise housekeeping staff with training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and, when needed, discipline staff.
• Oversee cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas, and back of house while ensuring cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assign tasks to staff to ensure smooth operation and manage supplies/inventory.
• Respond to guest requests and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Log items in Lost and Found and handle inquiries.
• Implement emergency procedures and ensure attendance and reliability.
