Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations, assign tasks, and train team members to uphold exemplary cleanliness and guest service standards.

You will ensure safe, efficient, and courteous service, coordinate with maintenance, and manage shift coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays. Join a growing hospitality group committed to excellence and employee development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must have basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Customer Service Skills required.
• Prioritization and time management skills required.
• Must have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedule room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Inspects all assigned rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
• Provide efficient and objective feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality within the housekeeping department.
• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms including nametags and designated PPE.
• Trains associates on safety standards and enforces those standards consistently.
• Completes accident investigations and takes steps to prevent future accidents.
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
• Verifies and updates the status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Perform opening and closing shift duties.
• Notifies maintenance department of maintenance repairs necessary.
• Monitor cleanliness of hotels including parking lot and exterior entrances.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
