Job summary

Shamin Hotels seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure cleanliness standards are met, assign tasks, inspect work, and train staff on best practices for guest service. The role supports the Operations department and reports to the General Manager.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inspecting rooms, providing feedback, and ensuring supplies and PPE. The supervisor also handles safety training, incident investigations, and shift coverage, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills are required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Schedule room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and repair.
• Provide feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality.
• Ensure associates have supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce them.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed (beds, vacuuming, cleaning).
• Notify maintenance of repairs and monitor room status during shift.
