Shamin Hotels seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to manage room and public area cleaning, inspect rooms for quality, and provide coaching to associates. The role emphasizes safety, proper supplies, and adherence to standards to deliver guest satisfaction.

The position involves overseeing opening/closing shifts, coordinating with maintenance, and ensuring cleanliness throughout the hotel. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills required.
• Customer service skills and reliable transportation are required.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Inspects all assigned rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
• Provide efficient and objective feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality within the housekeeping department.
• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms including nametags and designated PPE.
• Trains associates on safety standards and enforces those standards consistently.
• Completes accident investigations and takes steps to prevent future accidents.
• Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
• Monitors status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Performs opening and closing shift duties.
• Notifies maintenance department of maintenance repairs necessary.
• Monitor cleanliness of hotels including parking lot and exterior entrances.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
