Job summary

Shamin Hotels, Inc. is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure cleanliness standards are met, assign tasks, inspect work, and train staff to handle guest requests with care and professionalism.

You will schedule room cleanings, inspect spaces, provide feedback to team members, and ensure supplies and PPE are available. The role requires shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for growth within our hospitality portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience in hotel housekeeping, supervisory or lead role is a big plus.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Schedule room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Inspect assigned rooms and public areas for cleanliness and upkeep.
• Provide constructive feedback to room attendants to improve efficiency and quality.
• Ensure associates have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms including PPE.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce them.
• Complete accident investigations and prevent recurrence.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed (beds, vacuuming, cleaning).
• Monitor room status and discrepancies throughout shift.
• Handle opening and closing shift duties.
• Notify maintenance of repairs as needed.
• Monitor hotel cleanliness including exterior areas.
• Be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
