Job summary

Shamin Hotels is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor who will lead cleaning operations, assign tasks, and train staff to maintain high cleanliness standards across guestrooms and public areas. You will monitor quality, provide feedback, and ensure supplies and PPE are available while upholding safety rules.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service, and reliable transport. Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected for a busy hospitality

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must have basic Reading, Writing, and Math skills.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Customer Service Skills required.
• Prioritization and time management skills required.
• Must have a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedule room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and condition.
• Provide feedback to room attendants to drive efficiency and quality.
• Ensure associates have supplies, equipment, and uniforms including PPE.
• Trains associates on safety standards and enforces them.
• Complete accident investigations and prevent reoccurrence.
• Perform housekeeping duties including beds, vacuuming, and cleaning.
• Monitor room status and discrepant rooms throughout shifts.
• Open and close shifts; notify maintenance of repairs.
• Maintain hotel cleanliness including parking areas and entrances.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
