Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and train staff, inspect guest rooms and public areas, and ensure health and safety standards are met. You will assign tasks, manage supplies, and respond to guest needs to maintain high satisfaction."

Qualifications

• Available to work nights, holidays and weekends.
• Minimum of one year hotel housekeeping supervisory/inspector experience.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Communicate well with guests.
• Be a team player and willing to pitch in.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Receive instructions and communicate progress of assignments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff, provide training and coaching for efficiency.

• Issue assignments to staff and manage special requests for smooth operations.
• Distribute supplies at shift start to control inventory and expenses.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Log items in Lost and Found and handle inquiries to maintain controls.
• Implement emergency training and procedures for protection of property.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Supervise the housekeeping staff; providing open communication, training, coaching and counseling and providing performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation.
• Issue supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift in order to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Log items into the Lost and Found and answer inquires to maintain controls and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Implement emergency training and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of the hotel, guests, staff and company assets.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
