Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure cleanliness, safety, and quality standards across guest rooms and public areas. You will assist in staffing, monitor training, enforce safety policies, and coordinate linen handling while maintaining timely room reporting and strong guest service.

The role requires supervisory experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; computer skills preferred.
• Experience in housekeeping and supervision.
• Aptitude for guest services and positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Housekeeping in his/her absence and provide staff feedback.
• Determine work assignments for room attendants and support staff according to staffing guides and occupancy.
• Ensure an attractive and clean facility for guests in rooms and public areas.
• Monitor daily progress; ensure staff are trained, follow policies, and meet cleaning standards.
• Ensure time & attendance systems are used correctly and staff are in uniform.
• Assist in payroll budgeting and reporting for housekeeping staff.
• Provide quality control training and enforce safe use of chemicals and equipment.
• Schedule daily special cleaning projects for room attendants and inspectors.
• Coordinate linen handling, inventories, distribution, and security.
• Ensure rooms are reported to the front desk by deadlines (10:00 am / 4:00 pm).
• Comply with key security procedures and respond to guest/management requests promptly.
• May perform duties of Housekeeper when staff are insufficient.
