Job summary

Coury Hospitality is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping staff member to thoroughly clean guest rooms and public areas, ensuring high standards of hotel cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will report maintenance issues, handle guest requests, and maintain guest room privacy and security.

Responsibilities include bedding, restocking supplies, using proper cleaning chemicals, and following safety policies. Availability for evenings or weekends may be required and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English is desirable.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Well groomed and neat appearance.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect guestrooms including bathrooms; dust furniture; vacuum rugs and draperies; make beds and change sheets; sweep, mop and wash floors; tidy guest belongings.
• Restock towels and supplies in rooms.
• Replace facial tissues and bathroom amenities in correct amount and location.
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals per surfaces and safety regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of cleaning equipment and use it properly.
• Keep carts and linen rooms safe and orderly.
• Report maintenance problems for guest satisfaction.
• Protect and manage keys assigned to staff.
• Turn in lost and found items to the Housekeeping Office.
• Comply with all policies and safety procedures; work safely with heavy loads and soiled linen.
• Report accidents or unsafe conditions to manager.
• Maintain clean and professional appearance.
• Understand emergency procedures for Housekeeping and the hotel.
• May work evenings, weekends, and/or overtime.
• Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
