Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton in Virginia Beach, VA seeks a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily housekeeping operations, assign tasks to room attendants, public area attendants, and laundry staff, and ensure that guest rooms and public spaces meet DoubleTree by Hilton standards for cleanliness and presentation.

You will inspect rooms, coordinate with the front desk and maintenance teams, and respond to guest requests.

Qualifications

• Strong supervisory skills with team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
• Housekeeping knowledge including room cleaning procedures and public area upkeep.
• Laundry-related skills for linens handling and equipment.
• Customer service and professional guest interaction.
• Hospitality supervision experience is advantageous.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend and lift moderate weights for extended periods.
• Basic safety and sanitation knowledge; familiarity with brand standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations and assign tasks to room attendants, public area attendants, and laundry staff.
• Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet DoubleTree by Hilton standards.
• Coordinate with front desk and maintenance teams to resolve issues and fulfill guest requests.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and linens; support stock management.
• Provide training and coaching to housekeeping team members; enforce health and safety guidelines.
